Our beloved Virginia Freddye Taylor departed from this life on February 18, 2016 at the age of 89. Mrs. Taylor was born to Lucille and Frederick Fouche in Lincolnton, GA at the age of 8, she moved to Jersey City. She graduated from PS#11 and attended Lincoln HS. Virgina married Daniel Taylor on August 17, 1946. They were blessed with three beautiful children, Daniel Jr., Karen Michelle, both deceased and Fredric Henry. Virginia retired from Western Electric in 1982. Mother Taylor loved the Lord. She joined her husband's church Friendship Baptist in Bayonne, NJ. Later, she became a member of the Monumental Baptist Church in Jersey City. She was a Mother of the Church and the Chaplain of the Flower Circle. She leaves her son, Fredric Taylor; daughters-in-law, Dyanne (Cunningham), Karen (McGowan), grandsons, Daniel/Tony, Kahlik, Hasaan, Omar, and Trevor; granddaughter Nichole; (11) Great and (2) Great-great-grandchildren; special friend Ernestine Faulkner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish her loving memory.
