Beloved husband of (the late) Bernice Beatty; loving father of Willie Edward (Fatima) Beatty Jr., Charlene (James) Mumford, Willa Charise (Kevin) Reid, and Denise Beatty; brother of George, James P. (Regenia), Wilbert (Mary), & Larry (Velma) Beatty, Angie Whalen, Retha Jones, Ernestine McNair, Annie Ruth (Gussie) Bellinger, and Gwendolyn Woods- Beatty; Grandfather of (9) Yasien, Alexis, Jasmine, Parish, Kevin, Kyle, Jahi, Autumn and Kahlif and (3) Great- grandchildren Zyir, Zymir and Ja' sir. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
